ChargeMan KEN!(known as "cha-ji man KEN!", チャージマン研!) is Japanese anime series broad casted by TBS
KNACK produced 65 episodes tot ally. Japanese fa ns call these series Cha-KEN!(チャー研).

About this video

Each episodes are one-shot, and only 10 minutes applied(inc luding OP,ED,CM. Act ual len gth should be about 5 minute and a half).
Because of these restrictio ns, all episodes are overflowed with Deus-Ex Machina.
Also, this anime is known for its poor dire ct ion. For example, sound effects are cut off, ene mies are too weak,the hero sometimes gets inh umane, etc.

These series were rega rded as a "Phantom" anime for a long time, but
DVD-boxes have been released in 2007.

This anime was presented in an event held by "The Academy of Outrageous Books(Nihon To-Ga kk ai, 日本と学会)" at June 7th, 2008.

Also, this anime was intoroduced in a Japanese TV show "The Net Stars".

Japanese borad casting channel "AT-X" has been broad casting this anime since Nov 28th,2008.

Prot

In future ,when science is greatly pro gr essed, Aliens from a planet called "Jural" attacks a city with an ambition to conquer the Earth .
Main hero, Ken Izumi "dis guise"s himse lf as a "Charge man", and fights with Jurals.

Main Characters

Ken Izumi

The boy who dis gui ses himse lf into a hero of the Earth "Charge man Ken". For the sake of protecting the Earth, he neglects all minor sacrif icees.(quo ted via :wikipedia) He kills all Jurals with no hesit ation, even a boy who has been one of his f rien ds(act ually he is a Jural dis gui sed as a human boy) or one who shows no intention to fight with him. When he dis gui ses (or sometimes when not dis gui sed) into Charge-man, he can use a flying ship called "the Sky rods" which is known for its hoop which alwa ys gives up its job.

Caron Izumi

Ken's younger sister. She is an ac knowledged au thor ity on her skirt's short ness.

Jura lia ns

An alien clan which trying to invade the Earth. Acording to them, their science is 500 years ahead of that of the Earth. They are an ac knowledged au thor ity on their roundabout way of and prep aration for attacking; however, they get killed easily with only one shot by ChargeMan Ken in mo st case. They are really loved with Japanese fa ns. When Jurals fight better than usual, Japanese fa ns praise them like "Good Fight!" "Am azing!" "nice boat."

Doktor Vol ga

Great sc ie nt ist from West Germany. Unfort unatelly, he gets literaly thrown away. His episode "An Dynamite in the Head" is one of the great est episodes of ChargeMan KEN!. Many people gets hooked on this anime starting with this episode.
Hoshi…Ken's friend appears on episode 4 "the Misterious Boy with Bea uty". He is known for the st range noise he makes; like ｢eeeeeei!」 or his indistinctive pronunc iat ion. He is act ually a Jural.
the Narrator…Also known as「Niseto Shiozawa/塩沢偽人(not 為人)」. His tone is so over fa miliar, and sometimes his vocabulary is not cor rect.
Doc tor Yoshizaki…Ken's friend and a sc ie nt ist. He has st range hair and must ache. Following his rule or not, he do not wear any pan ts.
