Stonesとは、コンピュータRPG「Ultima」の楽曲である。
概要
この楽曲は名曲として名高く、Ultima Onlineでも使用されており、この曲はブリタニアにおける国民的歌謡とされている。
「Ultima V: Warriors of Destiny」が初出。
作曲:イオロ・フィッツオーエン(Iolo FitzOwen)ことデヴィッド・ワトソン(David Watson)
作詞:グエノ・フィッツオーエン(Gwenno FitzOwen)ことキャスリーン・ジョーンズ(Kathleen Jones)
Ultimaの作中の登場人物である、作曲者であるイオロと作詞者であるグエノの夫妻は、Ultimaの制作スタッフの夫妻をモチーフにしたキャラクターであり、アバタール、ロード・ブリティッシュと並び数少ない地球出身者である。
グエノのモデルであるキャスリーン・ジョーンズ氏は2000年11月に癌により亡くなっており、彼女を偲んだスタッフにより、Ultima Onlineにはグエノの墓が設置された。
