Four example
Diminishet vowel
The Japanese can recognize only five Vowel: [a], [e], [i], [o] and [u]. Sound of [a] is pronounced with the mouth closed, so, e.g., the word "and" pronounced by native Japanese may be heard like "und" (in X-SAMPA, [Vnd], not "und [unt]" of German).
Liquid consonant
This is why English of Japanese speaker is called as Engrish.
In Japanese, Only liquid consonant is [4] (X-SAMPA). Thus, the Japanese can't recognize the difference bitween [l] and [r].
By the way, [4], the Japanese only liquid consonant, sounds like fast "T" of American English such as "better" or "city".
Luck of stress
Because of Japanese doesn't have stress.
Grammar error
Japanese word order is SOV, while English is SVO. Adding, Japanese is agglutinative language, but English is almost isorating language in a broad sense.
