Zuii's life story says that she was the first of the SRSloids and that her creator, “Surusu” (Japanese Romaji for SRS), was always disappointed in her singing skills. Surusu tells her after a checkup that it is because one of Zuii’s ears is completely deaf. The story also tells how Zuii became a pessimist and ran away from home afterward. She becomes so curious in ways of making herself sing better and decides to read up on Anatomy and Biology. Discovering that the body produces more energy for both ears and eyes to work, Zuii learns that someone who becomes blind obtains better hearing since the body can direct more energy to the ears, and vice versa. She doesn’t want to be completely blind, though, so she tells herself she will only remove one. Miraculously, the insane, yet scientific, belief succeeded in the tale; her deaf ear was completely healed and she gained advanced hearing. Zuii became a better singer, but she still believes in her heart she could never accomplish anything.
